Sock yarn

So I bought some sock yarn from my newest LYS. It is Lana Grossa self striping. I never wanted to try self striping. But, since this sock is for my 7 yo DS, who asked specifically for socks, I had to make sure I bought something with nylon and superwash. This fit the bill. I will make sure he likes the color before I cast on.
